  • Arrived NZ November 2009, moved to Russell permanently in 2010/11, served as a member on a number of charitable service clubs in UK
  • Recognise the wharf’s connection with the Russell community and the importance of this to our future.

Deb Rewiri

  • Deb Rewiri-Nga Puhi, Ngati Awa,Te Whanau A Apanui oku Iwi.
  • Current Chair Kororareka Marae, Neuroscience Educator- Te Whanaketanga o te Roro.
  • Deb has a varied background of work at both the grassroots and at a Policy Level.

Erle Williams

  • A boat builder by trade, with a 40 year professional sailing career.
  • Erle and his wife Alison moved to Russell 3 years ago
John Bell

John Bell

  • Born and schooled in Fairlie, South Canterbury and moved to Russell 1 year ago
  • Recently retired after 4 years as a chief executive at Fletcher Building
  • Previously spent 30 years with Deloitte, qualified accountant and worked in the world of technology.
Lance Sigley

Lance Sigley

  • Born and raised in the Bay of Islands
  • Certified Butcher, Boat Skipper and Builder
  • Lance owns a small building company here in Russell and is also a member of the fire brigade
Peter Parkes

Peter Parkes

  • Born and raised in Northland, now living in Russell
  • Owns and runs a contracting business in Kororareka
Tim Grant

Tim Grant

  • Born and schooled Russell and spent most of his life working in the maritime environment
  • Currently self-employed Pest Control Contractor and Grounds Person at the Orongo Bay Holiday Park
